About Me

I am a fellowship-trained, board certified OBGYN Hospitalist, currently employed at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where I serve as the Program Director of the OBGYN Hospitalist Fellowship, and the Associate Program Director of the OBGYN Residency Program. My previous work experience includes a faculty position at Columbia University, where I also worked as an OBGYN Hospitalist. I have received certification as an expert witness through SEAK Expert Witness Training

 

My career bridges clinical excellence with leadership in medical education, quality and patient safety, simulation, and peer review. I am available for consulting and expert witness services, offering evidence-based review and testimony grounded in frontline experience and systems-level practice.

Labor management & intrapartum decision-making, induction and augmentation of labor, fetal heart rate interpretation and response to non-reassuring tracings, vacuum-assisted vaginal deliveries, complicated cesarean deliveries, recognition and management of obstetric emergencies (hemorrhage, placental abruption, sepsis, shoulder dystocia, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy), trial of labor after cesarean, obstetric triage and admission decision-making, interdisciplinary communication on L&D, supervision of trainees, adherence to evidence-based guidelines and institutional protocols, evaluation of delays in diagnosis and escalation of care.

Gynecology
